15th August'12-ABVP protests for the negligent driving of the Private travel bus

It has been the day of Independence day and the students were very glad to celebrate the eve of Independence day.
Students of Narayana e-Techno School were travelling in their regular school bus. They were on the way to their school where all of the sudden a private travel bus(Kaleshwari Travels) has drived into the school bus near M.V.P double road,Visakhapatnam.

Students were shocked due to the sudden act and Many of them were injured and one the students named Satya jyothi has seriously injured which resulted in fracture of her spine.She has been taken to the hospital immediately after the accident and treated.

After some time ABVP members rushed to the place as soon as they came to know about the accident.Soon they came to know that the driver of the private travel bus was in toxic position and drunken and driving.ABVP on this cause has protested against the negligence of private travel buses and organisations.

M.V.P Colony zone S.I Kasi Reddy reached the place and tried to make the situation settle and tried to convince the members of ABVP.But ABVP members demanded to arrest the driver on the spot itself.As the S.I. Kasi Reddy has soon registered the case and has taken the private bus driver into custody.Though ABVP recalled the protests later, they alleged that strict rules are not been implemented in the fitness of private travel buses and as well as drivers too.

Prantha Vice President Vijayanna,State Executive Member Vasu devendra Reddy, District Organising Member Amarnadh, Vizag District Convenor Ram prasad, Vizag City Organising Secretary O. Madhava Rao,  and  Damodar Gupta and other members have been taken part in the protests.
